When I was pregnant with my third son, I toured daycare centers that left me feeling desperate for clean, caring options. Years later, I still remember that feeling, and it’s what inspired Hygge Kinder House.

As a longtime Boise resident and parent, I’m passionate about creating the kind of support and community I once wished for. Professionally, I’ve helped businesses grow in software and services, led teams across operations and HR, and founded two successful business ventures. Now, I’m combining my experience and heart to build something truly meaningful for Boise families and caregivers.

As a mom of two, my journey in education has always been deeply personal. I began my career as a middle school history and English teacher, later discovering a true calling in early childhood education.

Over the past four years, I’ve moved into educational leadership, where I’ve had the privilege of supporting teachers and families through roles in administration and operations. I’ve developed expertise in hiring and mentoring educators, guiding curriculum development, managing enrollment and budgeting, and building strong, connected school communities.

My goal is always to create warm, enriching spaces where children feel safe and inspired, and where educators feel empowered and supported in their work.

Hi!! My name is Cece and I’m so excited to be working with you all. I have over 5 years of childcare experience with children from infancy through school age inside and outside the classroom setting! I love creating a safe and positive environment for learning, growth, and play! In my free time you can find me reading, baking, hiking, and spending time with my family and friends!

Hi families! I’m Maddie Plummer. I was born and raised in West Michigan and went to college at Marquette University in Wisconsin. I’ve been working in education for over 5 years and have experience with infants to 6th grade in a variety of learning environments. I’m very passionate about literacy and can’t wait to help develop foundational reading skills with your children! Fun fact: I’m a new dog mom! 

My name is Zoey, I’ve been in Idaho my whole life and working in childcare for the past 7 years as a nanny as well as a early childhood educator! In my free time I enjoy spending time with friends and family and adventuring around Idaho with my 2 cats. I am so excited for this new adventure.

My name is Madison, and I’ve lived in Boise for about 12 years now. I have worked with children for the last 8 years as a face painter and children’s event coordinator. One of my favorite things is to foster a child’s imagination and to watch them grow into their authentic selves. Outside of Hygge Kinder House, I play Roller Derby with TVRD, occasionally act in short films for crews in the valley, and love to travel.

Hi all! I’m Jess Juker. I was born and raised here in the valley. I recently spent a few years in Tennessee furthering my early childhood ed career. I have over four years of teaching experience. I deeply believe in the impact we have on little ones. I strive to keep a warm and inviting space for your kids to come learn, play, and explore the world they’re a part of. When I‘m not at school, you can find me hiking, spending time with my nephew, or getting lost on back roads listening to music. I can’t wait to get to know you and your kiddos.

Hi, my name is Sadie Rae Rios and I am a floater teacher here at Hygge! I am a student at BSU majoring in Kinesiology and minoring in Psychology and Neuroscience. In the future, I hope to become a Pediatric Occupational Therapist. My favorite activity to do outside of school is baking sourdough! I have been in childcare for 2+ from daycares, preschools, and babysitting. I love getting to know each child’s personality and creating a fun, positive environment. Being part of Hygge is a rewarding experience to watch children develop new skills and to celebrate their little accomplishments. I am so excited to continue to build relationships with all of children and families here!
