Lead Educator
Compensation: $18–$20/hour, full-time
Schedule: Monday–Friday, ~40 hrs/week

Role Overview
The Lead Teacher is the classroom anchor—planning engaging, developmentally appropriate activities, partnering with families, and mentoring assistant teachers. You’ll nurture curiosity and build a safe, joyful environment where every child can thrive.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and implement daily curriculum that supports social-emotional growth, creativity, and early academics
Maintain a warm, positive classroom culture and strong communication with families
Observe and document children’s development; adjust activities to individual needs
Model best practices and guide assistant teachers
Ensure health, safety, and licensing requirements are met
Qualifications
CDA, associate’s, or bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education or equivalent coursework/experience
Passionate about outside play and willingness to be outdoors with children for 2-3 hours/day
At least 1 year of lead or co-lead teaching experience in a licensed childcare setting
Strong communication and collaboration skills
CPR/First Aid certification (or willing to obtain)
Idaho Childcare License (or willing to obtain)
